We are very excited to announce that the new state-of-the-art Fallsburg Community Mikvah will BEZ’H be open for the 2017 summer season with a limited number of completed rooms. In order to be able to completely finish the Mikvah, and nearly triple the number of available rooms –

WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION NOW!

With each passing year the summer population in the Catskill Mountains continues to grow. Over the past several years, thousands of families have purchased new homes in the Catskill Region. Many of them in the Fallsburg area.

In light of the continuously growing population, it is critical for our religious infrastructure to grow as well. Nowhere is this more true than in facilitating the mitzvah of Mikvah. While previously we may have been content with the smaller, less comfortable facilities that exist, our current standards and growing community demand that we significantly improve this situation. And with an ever growing summer population, capacity is a serious and constantly growing issue.

The Fallsburg Community Mikvah project was founded by the late Reb Yisroel Lefkowitz z’l and Reb Yossi Gutman z’l with the goal of significantly improving these conditions. It’s mission is to build a new, modern, comfortable, and spacious Mikvah facility, in the heart of the Fallsburg community, to help insure that Taharas Hamishpach in the Catskills is no longer a burden, but rather a pleasant and fulfilling experience.

This project is being spearheaded by recognized community leaders, and has attracted a rapidly growing number of supporters and community representatives. Of particular importance is the strong support and personal involvement of many Rabbinic leaders, including the Novominsker Rebbe, Rabbi Avrohom Yeshaya Bick, Rabbi Elya Ber Wachtfogel, Rabbi Avrohom Schorr, Rabbi Noach Isaac Oelbaum, Rabbi Yaakov Horowitz, amongst others.

Construction is progressing on the spacious, beautiful, state-of-the-art mikvah with the latest modern amenities. The Mikvah, when completed, will BEZ’H consist of sixteen preparation rooms, two Mikvaos, handicap access, and ample parking space. Expert consultants and Mumchim have been retained to ensure that the highest Halachic standards are adhered to. A Mikvah that the Fallsburg and the greater Catskill community can be proud of.

The quick completion of this project is up to you!
